WELCOME TO Mr. AXTELL'S WEBSITE!
Hello! My name is Brian Axtell and I am currently a special education teacher at Jefferson West High School.
I am originally from Andover Kansas and I graduated in 2005 from Andover Central High school. Growing up sports were always a very important aspect of my life and nothing was different in high school. I was an All State goal keeper in soccer for 2 years and an All State catcher in baseball. After graduating I went on to Dodge City Community College to continue playing baseball. After two years there I decided that it was finally time to settle down and focus on school so I transfered to Pittsburg State University where I completed my undergraduate studies. Upon graduation from Pittsburg State I went strait into the special education field working as a Paraeducator and began work on a Special Education Masters. I am currently taking online classes at Emporia State working twords a masters in Special Ed.
Working with kids has been something that I have always enjoyed. I look forward to meeting each and everyone of the students!
